About Discover with JD
It is an independent page created by JD, with the aim of having a positive impact on the web, the page is a collection to remember, preserve and spread culture.
Since the beginning of the covid 19 pandemic (2020) JD has dedicated himself to polishing his skills as a writer and digital artist, and what better place to start than with stories that have been told from generation to generation.
However, this task is not easy at all, since investigating the content, the reinterpretation of the stories, the creation of the web page and the management of social networks require great effort and investment of time.
In addition to that in the future I hope that the page works as moral and economic support for me and my family, and that your dear reader feels that you are part of the most beautiful community in the world.
If you want to show your interest in this project you can support me in infinite ways, but the first and most important is to talk about this website with everyone.

Honestly, discover with JD you can cover an infinite number of topics, since if you wanted to you could include every detail of every corner of every continent, country and city/state/municipality.
However, that sounds unrealistic for two people, so for now, Discover with JD focuses exclusively on the American continent, collecting characteristic stories from each country, and talking about its different cities.
Growing little by little discover with JD aims to collect a monumental amount of information which will be presented in an attractive and interactive way.

What are myths and legends?
Myths and legends are fabulous stories from oral tradition that explain through narration the actions of beings that symbolically embody forces of nature, aspects of the human condition, the actions of mythological characters or heroes of antiquity are narrated.
This page used these stories as symbols of love for the cultural heritage that myths and legends give to the countries that tell these stories from generation to generation.
About JD
JD Cortes A is a 17-year-old boy born in Bogotá DC Colombia, he spends his time learning new things like drawing, writing, social networks and practicing various sports.
A short summary of JD's life would be the following: Starting in an apartment in Normandy JD's parents decided to start a family, starting with JD the first of two children, after two years they moved to Fontibón where their second daughter Mayra would join the family, then the family moved to the bonanza neighborhood for the next 11 years, being mostly normal JD concentrated on his studies.
On April 20, 2021, the family traveled to the United States with the goal of discovering new horizons, discovering new tools and building a future.
JD knows that the future may not look very promising in some aspects, but he is confident that the tools he is learning while developing this page will help him face adversity.

All the national symbols can be found in the official pages of each country, just as the information related to the cities is based mainly on tourist pages.
The stories and art sections are 100% made by discover with JD from the text designs to all the drawings that accompany the stories. they may be inspired or adapted (especially the stories) however we focus on distinguishing them enough so that they are unique and not copied word for word
